the tv shows in which i am currently invested
since my job no longer involves writing about tv, i guess i’ll do it here.
1) downton abbey. duh.
2) the wire. this would have been #1, but then downton abbey came back into my life. also have been ragged on enough by friends for being one of “those white people who are into the wire.” and like, that’s more than fair.

i definitely tried harder today. i had some bad stuff get me down but didn’t retreat to downton abbey, instead acknowledged it and moved on and up. you know, just in case you guys were wondering whether her sage quote from my last post had any effect on me post last night’s midnight interneting.

Sometimes when simple half-platitudes (halfitudes) come out of the mouth of say madonna they just mean more. also when they’re like temporally apt or whatever. but, thanks, madonna-tomorrow i’m going to try harder.
